ConceptTwo Point House is a project that defines its location. One view is directly out to sea and the other is up along the coastline. The uneven landscape provides the inspiration for a shift in the plan at the base material stage. The two types of view… one to ‘the offing’ (defined as the furtherest seen point on the horizon) and the other along  the coastline of rugged geology allowed two pavilions to be created and shifted apart in orientation.

Once the building was split, but linked, we could then create spaces behind the wind screens of the view windows. Two pavilions gives room to play with volume size and levels of light.
